Xbox One gets free game and in-store credit this week, 'Soul Suspect' gift card

With “Murdered: Soul Suspect” for the Playstation and Xbox consoles and “Tomodochi Life” for the Nintendo 3DS the only major releases for the week of Sunday, June 1, the available game deals are an odd assortment of older titles and recent releases. However, discount hunters can find combo deals on “Mario Kart 8” and “Watch Dogs” plus big price cuts on everything from “Diablo III” to “infamous” to “Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition.”

Best Buy is offering a combo deal on “Mario Kart 8” where you can get the game or console bundle for its regular price or $20 off other Wii U titles. The list includes “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” for $9.99, “Sonic: Lost World” for $23.99 and “Just Dance 2014” for $26.99.

You can also get 50 percent off various Blizzard titles from Best Buy. This results in “Diablo III” for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for $19.99 as well as “StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty” and “Heart of the Swarm.” And yes, “World of WarCraft” is on sale as well with both the original game and “Mists of Pandaria” cut to $9.99.

Other game listed are “Call of Duty: Ghosts” for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC at $39.99, “Halo 4: GOTY Edition” for $29.99 and “Fable Anniversary” for $24.99. Wii U owners can also get “Just Dance 2014” and a Wii Remote Plus Controller together for $60.99.

For Sunday, June 1 only, you can also pickup "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix" for $19.99 as part of the Deal of the Day. There's "Saints Row IV" for the same price on the PS3 and Xbox 360 available too.

Target is the only one offering a deal on “Murdered: Soul Suspect” which you can get for $59.99 with a free $10 gift card. Meanwhile, all Sony Greatest Hit titles like “inFamous Collection” and Xbox Platinum Hits like “Halo: Reach” are $13.99. You can also find “inFamous: Second Son” for the PS4 and EA Sports 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for $47.99 and “Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition” for $15.99.

You can also find a combo deal on “Watch Dogs” at Target. Buying the game also comes with a $25 discount on either a one year PS Plus or Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

Kmart actually steps up its game this week with combo deals for Shop Your Way Rewards Members (free) on console and games. Purchasing an Xbox One with “Watch Dogs” or “Titanfall” grants $50 worth of in-store credit. There’s also an online only offer that also gives a free copy of “Ryse,” “Need for Speed: Rivals,” “NBA 2K14,” “Forza 5” or “Madden NFL 25.”

Picking up the Wii U “New Super Mario Bros. U” bundle with “Mario Kart 8” or “Super Mario 3D World” drops a $50 credit. Finally, getting a Nintendo 2DS with “Tomodochi Life” or Mario Golf World Tour” gives a $30 credit.

Toys R Us easily has the weakest deals of the bunch this week. You can either save $15 on “Skylanders SWAP Force” Starter Packs for all systems or get the Wii U “Skylanders SWAP Force” bundle for $249.99.
