Debra Milke - Arizona
In 1989, Milke and her room mate planned the shooting death of her her 4 year old son. They left the boy in the Arizona desert. She offered her then-boyfriend a portion of the $5000 life insurance payoff.
Debra D. Brown - Ohio
Brown and her boyfriend bludgeoned, shot, tortured and sexually molested at least eight persons ranging in age from seven years to adult. Her death sentence was later commuted as part of Gov. Celeste's departing "amnesty for women" gesture.
Carolyn King - Pennsylvania
In 1993, King and her boyfriend burglarized a home. They suffocated the 74-year-old owner with a plastic bag. They also kidnapped a Bismarck, N.D., woman and kept her in the trunk of their car for five days. They drove to Nevada where they shot the woman.
Banche T. Moore - North Carolina
Moore poisoned several people for insurance money, to include her father, two husbands, her mother-in-law, at least one lover, and a pastor.
Latasha Pulliam - Illinois
In 1991, Pulliam and her boyfriend sexually assaulted, then tortured and strangled her neighbor's 6-year-old daughter. Pulliam later confessed to shutting the girl in a closet until she suffocated. She hid the little girl's body in a garbage can.
Robin Rowe - Idaho
Arsonist Rowe was sentenced in 1993 for the murder of her husband (age 34) and children, a son (age 10), and a daughter (age 8). She is the sole female on Idaho's death row. She set fire to the family home.
Antoinette Frank - Louisiana
In 1994, former police officer Frank robbed and murdered a police officer, a 17-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman during the robbery of a Vietnamese restaurant. Frank had worked at the restaurant as a security guard.
Kerry L. Dalton - California
In 1988, Dalton murdered a woman because she claimed the victim had stolen her jewelry. Dalton explained she also tortured the victim with electrical wires, a cast-iron skillet and injections of battery acid. The victim's body was never located.
