Whether you’re waiting until you’re toned and tanned or you’re just having a hard time finding the perfect fit, putting off purchasing your summer swimsuit until mid- to late-summer just may have you riding a wave of savings on the season’s hottest styles.
With retailers eager their racks of summer fashions, you can score discounts between 40 to 70-percent. About halfway through the summer, midseason swimsuit sales can save you up to 50-percent off. If you’re patient and willing to wait until the end of the summer, you can find deals as deep as 50 to 75-percent off regular prices, but even these discounts come at their own price.
“With the latter…be aware that the selection is going to be much more limited,” points out Marshal Cohen, chief industry analyst for The NPD Group, Inc., in an interview with ABC News. “Clothing not in your size is no real bargain no matter how low the price.”’
Cohen adds that generally the best times of the year for deep discounts fall between July and August as stores prepare to make room for fall inventory and January and February with post-holiday clearances.
From the beach to the lake to the resort pool, suit up in these beachwear bargains from Target and Victoria’s Secret priced at some of the lowest of the year.
