A man was pronounced dead after falling from the 10th floor of the Venetian Hotel parking garage last night. Investigators initially thought the man jumped intentionally, but later revised that and suggested the man may have fallen accidentally while taking photos of the Las Vegas skyline.
Police said the incident occurred around 7:10 pm, when the man landed in the valet parking area of the Venetian parking garage. The man was transported to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police continue to investigate the situation and have not released the man's identity.
This is the fourth fall - related death from Las Vegas hotel resort structures within the last four months. The three recent previous deaths all involved intentional jumps / suicides from The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace, and El Cortez hotel structures.
