We hold these Truths to be self-evident...
Martin Luther King’s family and his attorney, William F. Pepper, won a civil trial that found US government agencies guilty in the wrongful death of Martin Luther King. The 1999 trial, King Family versus Jowers and Other Unknown Co-Conspirators, is the only trial ever conducted on the assassination of Dr. King. The King family’s attempts for a criminal trial were denied, as suspect James Ray’s recant of what he claimed was a false confession was denied.
The overwhelming evidence of government complicity introduced and agreed as comprehensively valid by the jury includes the 111th Military Intelligence Group were sent to Dr. King’s location and that the usual police protection was pulled away just before the assassination. Military Intelligence set-up alleged photographers on a roof of a fire station with a clear view to Dr. King’s balcony. 20th Special Forces Group had an 8-man sniper team at the assassination location on that day. Memphis police ordered the scene where multiple witnesses reported as the source of shooting cut down of their bushes that would have hid a sniper team. Along with sanitizing a crime scene, police abandoned investigative procedure to interview witnesses who lived by the scene of the shooting.

I also suggest Robert Kennedy’s assassination was also a government-supported assassination to suppress war dissent.
King’s family and Mr. Pepper allege that Dr. King’s speech calling upon America to end the Vietnam War, Beyond Vietnam: A time to break silence, and his plan for a 500,000 camp-in for Washington, D.C. in the summer of 1968 were a threat to dominant and fascist political factions within US government.
Along with arranging for the assassination, CIA and military disclosure confirm that corporate media collude with political “leadership” to disinform the American public on strategic military, policy, and economic issues. This answers the question why corporate media have not covered the civil trial and verdict for MLK’s assassination. For comparison, please consider the media circus over O.J. Simpson’s trials.

Hundreds of writers have documented US corporate media collusion with US government to disinform the American public with wars and supporting policy of fascism. Corporate media’s refusal to cover this trial and report upon it is a revealing case study.
Policy response: Gandhi and Martin Luther King advocated public understanding of the facts and non-cooperation with evil. I’m among hundreds who advocate:
- Understand the laws of war. These were legislated after WW2 and are crystal-clear that only self-defense, in a narrow legal meaning, can justify war. The current US wars are not even close to being lawful. Those involved with US military, government, and law enforcement have an oath to protect and defend the US Constitution, not “always place the mission first.” To fulfill their oath they must immediately refuse and end all orders associated with unlawful wars and military-related constant violation of treaties.
- End the transfer of trillions of American taxpayer money to banksters and admitted as “lost” by our military. End poverty through global cooperation to achieve the UN Millennium Goals by developed countries investing 0.7% of their income. Support global security through cooperation, dignity, justice, and freedom. Create a US Department of Peace to help.
- Communicate. Trust your unique, beautiful, and powerful self-expression to share as you feel appropriate. Understand that while many people are ready to embrace difficult facts, many are not. Anticipate that you will be attacked and prepare your virtuous response in the spirit of competition, just as you do in other fields.
- Prosecute the war leaders for obvious violation of the letter and spirit of US war laws. Because the crimes are so broad and deep, I recommend Truth and Reconciliation (T&R) to exchange full truth and return of stolen US assets for non-prosecution. This is the most expeditious way to understand and end all unlawful and harmful acts. Those who reject T&R are subject to prosecution.

I no longer trust the government. They have been proven to be liars far too often and the same may be said of the "free" (pronounced "fee") press. I too, had never heard of the case in question until a few years ago; not a word. To me, this is an example of how they lie to us by controlling the message and what we hear. It is to this point, that I believe they will never show you video tape of Shanksville P.A. Since the morning of 911, the media has never played that video - why? I believe it's because there's no jet there. Sure, something hit the ground, but it wasn't a 100 ton jet; no debris. Subsequently, they are terrified to play that video. It is the same reason they, the media, never told you about the King family's civil case; how could they? How would it look if they reported - Govt. Murders MLK! So, they don't and won't, if for no other reason then to protect their reputations. In a word, this proves them all to be - liars.

We know they poison our drinking water, food and hook our kids on prescription drugs. We know they make us their slaves thru the Federal Reserve system, usery and income taxes. This is a great story! I had only vaguely heard this before once and then forgotten about it in the onrush of news. It really is amazing how the Main Stream Media can mold your perceptions, even if you are open to alternatives. They have most of the print and airspace so you are lulled by their constant "din".

I read an Act of State. It without a doubt proves the truth about 'America' and who really controls it.
Most fascinating is Jesse Jacksons part in luring Dr. King out onto the balcony which gave Jowers a clear shot.
Jackson looks and acts like a snake, look how he has prospered since.
Read the verdict on the King civil trial. The ruling was that the government *failed to do enough* to stop the assassination, not that they caused the assassination itself. It's like suing a bodyguard company.
They were found "guilty" of wrongful death. Wrongful death is a civil term, not a criminal one. The government was found negligent, not contributory.

Twenty five years ago I read a TIME LIFE SERIES coffee table book about infamous assassinations that claimed that Dr. King was murdered with a Remington rifle in .243 WIN caliber. (6mm dia bullet)
The official account now claims that the weapon was a .30-06 SPRINGFIELD. (7.62 dia.)
This "confusion" about the murder weapon parallels the JFK assassination, specifically, the Dallas officer who found "Oswald's rifle was an experienced hobbyist who worked part time in a gun store, and he claimed that it was an 8mm German Mauser instead of the 6.5 mm Mannlicher Carcano later ID'ed as having been purchased through the mail by "O.H. Lee".
The "gun nut" Police Captain certainly would have understood the consequences had he bungled it, and as an experienced gun enthusiast he would have easily located the nomenclature of the rifle.
The odds of confusing a cheaply made war production Carcano with a highly prized Mauser (popular for sporterizing for hunters) were so long as to be impo

So-very: So what? Civil court has a lower burden of proof. You are trying to prove a higher burden with a lesser. Which is not only illogical, it is explicitly unconstitutional.

So-very: Why? If they were going to kill him anyway, why not keep security as it was and make the kill anyway? Why would they make all these changes, and thus invite people like you to second guess them? Why remove his security team? Are they going to stop a bullet? Wouldn't it make more sense to have that day be just like any other day? Why make ANY change to arouse ANY suspicion?
Apparently the government was smart enough to pull off a major assassination, but just not smart enough to do it very well.

The US government is found guilty with the evidence I list and your reaction is “so what.” Your questioning of this evidence shows your allegiance with a ready comparison between the values of Dr. King and the values of the faction within the US government that embraced a war in Vietnam after the US approved of cancelling elections to unify the country and deploy US troops to support the dictatorship in the South. When Dr. King became a threat to this war by planning a march and camp-in to the capital, US government fascists sent Military Intelligence, an 8-man sniper team, pulled-off MLK’s security, sanitized the crime scene rather than inspect and document it, abandoned legal procedure to interview other potential witnesses, and then use people like you in corporate media to spin-away these facts.

It seems like the people who watch and believe the corporate propaganda outlets are zombies who regurgitate the irrational gibberish programmed into them. I for one do not believe the Fascist US Government and its controlled media on many issues. I always ask "who benefits? and examine the evidence. Our government has been a militarized fascist government for many years. They just no longer try to hide it.
