Qasim Rashid is a graduate of the University of Illinois and currently completing his law degree at the University of Richmond. He is actively engaged in the American Muslim community and in general social welfare programs, serving as the Assistant National Director for Interfaith Relations for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Youth Auxiliary. Qasim has interviewed on NBC to condemn terrorism and promote peace. He has also published numerous Op Eds and Letters in national and international newspapers on issues spanning Islam, free speech, and human rights. Qasim is the National Qur'an Examiner.
