BOXING -- Rob Peters, head of Manny Pacquiao's U.S. security detail, advises fans that they are welcome to greet Manny but that fans should not expect the pound-for-pound king to stop and sign autographs and pose for pictures with them. [Pacquiao and Margarito in New York]
The entourage and security detail will keep on moving forward. The boxer is not able to stop and accommodate every autograph and picture request as was the case at the Los Angeles airport on Monday night where a crowd of admirers surrounded the boxer's detail.

Occasionally fans may thrust their item towards Manny for the boxer to autograph, and Rob Peters discourages these kinds of attempts. The security team wants a safe environment for the fans, as well as for Manny.
The security team creates a circle around the Filipino and Manny Pacquiao will typically choose a couple of items from the fans who are polite and he will sign those items. Then the entourage will continue on its way.
Rob Peters also adds Manny Pacquiao wants all of the security crew to treat the fans with the utmost respect and that the boxer is very appreciative of the fans' support.
