Indoor swings are a fabulous new trend, especially for a loft space that is minimalistically designed. Swings can be installed just for looks or they can be used in the home for children to play on, and of course us adults who are big kids at heart. This is an exceptional idea for places where cold weather or rainy conditions is a factor and children want to play on a swing all year round. Create one yourself and if it is not also being used for decorative purposes, store it when not in use.

This swing has been affixed to the ceiling so high up that it seems to be placed more for visual appeal and decoration than for practical purposes.

How about installing a porch swing in the bedroom to create a different kind of design from the typical loveseat or sofa to snuggle up and read on.

There are all different types of swings that can be mounted from the ceiling. Here is a hanging daybed in the Casa Redonda hotel in Puerto Rico.

Installing a baby swing in a contemporary setting may seem a bit unusual. These homeowners seem to like the fact that they can swing their child in the baby chair without having to leave the sofa.

These look like so much fun, I want to get one installed in my loft now, what a great idea.
Got to love swings, I live in a tall skyrise building in NY, I think it would be fun to swing towards my window at night.
How fun...you find the fun and bring it to us...thanks!
