'Nanban', the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster movie ‘3 Idiots’, which was to be released on January 13, 2012, will now be released on January 12.
The movie has been directed by director Shankar, who has already directed several hits in the Tamil film industry. The Hindi movie had the most popular faces of Bollywood such as Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan.
The role of Chatur Ramalingam was played by Omi Vaidya. On the other hand the Tamil version of the film will have Vijay, Srikanth and Jiva K in the lead roles, while Sathyan will be seen playing the role which was played by Vaidya.
Ileana D’Cruz will be seen in place of Kareena Kapoor, but it is still not clear if the makers have tampered with the script. The original movie created waves among the youth and was based on the aptitude of the students.
