Tiger Woods confirmed a loser while Phil Mickelson emerges as professional golf's new hero

Finally, the nice guy finishes first: Phil Mickelson beat Tiger woods to win the green jacket

Tiger Woods return to golf at the Augusta Masters Tournament made international headlines, but to the chagrin of his supporters at Nike and other companies the celebrity endorses, he still lost.

TIGER WOODS OFFICIALLY A LOSER, PHIL MECKELSON A WINNER AND LEGENDARY VICTOR

Special thanks to one sportswriter for sharing news that is positive.

For once the good guy finished FIRST -- and in this special case, it is a pleasure to report the golf world has found it's first true sports hero in Phil Mickelson, dethroning the king of creep Tiger Woods.

How did we hear about the golfer Phil Mickelson and his personal story?

From a national columnist we're glad to have found thanks to a suggestion by friend and subscriber Ron Johnston.

"Finally, we have some justice in the world. The right man won..." proclaimed Jay Mariotti, national columnist for Fanhouse.com --

In one of the best written sports reviews ever published, Mariotti tells the tale of the new victor with candor, grace, poise, and elegance.

Moving Tiger Woods news to the bottom of the column (where it belongs) due to his bad behavior off the green, his spoiled attitude on the course during the game itself, and his deceitful and disingenuous nature, Mariotti shines the spotlight on a new man with better character who America can only hope steps up to the tee to become one of the world's most famous golfing legends.

PHIL MICKELSON: HUSBAND, FATHER, AND TRUE GREEN CELEBRITY

Mariotti writes, "This isn't about Mickelson winning his third Masters by three strokes, notching his fourth major championship or having the gumption to fearlessly blast a shot between two trees on No. 13 -- "a good four or five feet between them,'' he said, as if 48 to 60 inches were no problem -- that led to the birdie elevating him to victory. No, this was about a rock of a man experiencing a horrible, year-long ordeal with his family, including three children who have been forced far too early to face the realities of death, and finding inspiration in her courage to reach the highest performance level of his golfing life."

He goes on to say, "There have been any number of wonderful human triumphs in sports, but none have resonated more powerfully than Mickelson winning for Amy and his mother, Mary, who is said to be faring better as both fight breast cancer at once."

PHIL MICKELSON SHOWS HIS TRUE CHARACTER ON AND OFF THE GREEN

Describing the win, Mariotti shares no better words than to comment about Mickelson's first instinct reaction -- to find his wife and share his victory with her more than for the celebrity athlete. Mariotti reports,

When he came off the green, he immediately walked up the hill and looked for her. And there she was, wearing a smile bigger than her sunglasses, reaching out for him with tears streaming down her face but her smile only widening. He hugged her and leaned on her shoulders in an embrace that seemed to last for hours, and if you looked closely, Phil, too, was crying. And to think people in this country, and at this fabled course, were immersed in the comeback of Woods, to the point of showering him with over-the-top love that was disproportionate to the real story of this unforgettable 2010 Masters. All along, the green jacket was set up for Mickelson to win, not Woods.

Tiger Woods is a horses ass. He had it all and blew it because he has no character. He's a spoiled arrogant jack-ass. His great time has come to an end. He could learn something from Phil about family, commitment and honesty. His spoiled, foul mouthed antics don't belong in professional golf. He's classless.
