Star of 18 Kids and Counting Michelle Duggar was airlifted to a hospital in Arkansas. The hospital stay for Michelle Duggar stems from stomach problems that she was having, but it is being reported that they are not tied to her current pregnancy. People Magazine is reporting that Michelle Duggar was rushed to the hospital due to gallbladder issues that she was having. Now this is going to turn into a pretty dramatic episode if the Duggar family was still being filmed for their TLC show 18 Kids and Counting.
Michelle Duggar had been suffering from pain due to a gallstone, and it was generating some contractions during her current pregnancy. Hedging towards safety she was airlifted to a hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas just in case the baby had to be delivered early. The report states that Michelle Duggar is doing fine at the moment, and will be kept at the hospital for the next few days just for observations in order to make sure that she stays in good health.
Michelle Duggar is one half of the parents that star on the TLC reality show 18 Kids and Counting. On the show Michelle and husband Jim Bob Duggar are film as they live their daily lives with 18 kids and one more on the way. Michelle Duggar gave birth to all 18 of them (soon to be 19), and has relished the fact that they have named all of their kids with names that start with 'J'. This family is far less dramatic than the Gosselin family has been on or off the television screen, and people tune in because they are fascinated at how one woman can raise so many kids.

While I am so glad that Michelle Duggar and her unborn are ok, one woman is NOT raising her children. The older children are raising the younger ones who are assigned to them as an official buddy. They sleep with them, dress them, keep them on task with their chores, teach them (Michelle only teaches up to 3rd Grade I believe), and basically are the mothers to these younger children. There is nothing wrong with giving your older children responsibility but those older girls deserve a life of their own and all they have gotten is a life where their mother has baby issues and now expects them to raise the ones that she is no longer breastfeeding because that is how long Michelle herself has a "buddy" in this family (self-admitted but the Duggars).
Family love is an incredible thing. So is faith. These people have taken that to an extreme.
