Exclusive Examiner.com Interview with JD of Black Label Society

Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society headlined the Monster Energy Drink second stage at Ozzfest 2010 last week, and set a high bar for the rest of the night's performances.  The crowd went wild for the explosive songs and, as always, Zakk's high energy guitar solos.  The entire band was locked in tightly together as they blasted through a short but intense set, hitting new songs and old favorites, especially closing song Stillborn.  Before their performance, bassist JD was nice enough to invite me onto his tour bus and speak at length.  Watch the video below for JD's thoughts on this year's Ozzfest, touring in Israel, and the longest Zakk Wylde ever went without showering.  For my review of the entire Ozzfest, click here, and for my interview with second stage openers Drowning Pool, click here.
