Southern Poverty Law Center equates gun owners with haters

Courtesy Oleg Volk, A Human Right

A hate group masquerading as a civil rights organization continues to spread a message of intolerance and bigotry. Here's the latest from the seething haters at the Southern Poverty Law Center, from their "Hate Watch" page:

Gun rights advocates, including some in the antigovernment “Patriot” movement for whom the specter of gun restrictions is a recurring theme, are planning to march in Washington, D.C., and some individual states on April 19.

They're referring to the Second Amendment March, an event being led by Grand Rapids Gun Rights Examiner Skip Coryell.

The first lie is characterizing this as anti-government. Championing the intent of the Founders when they crafted "the Supreme Law of the Land" is pro-government--within the bounds of its proper delegated authority. It is those who ignore the Constitution, particularly disparaging the Bill of Rights and the right to keep and bear arms, who are subverting the government--especially when you consider what the Founders deemed "necessary to the security of a free State."

The crux of SPLC's argument--that Obama is not anti-gun--is also a lie that is unsupported by even a casual glance at the record. That he has been ineffective at overtly pushing his agenda is not from lack of desire, merely lack of political opportunity. You know it, I know it, and the SPLC knows it.

They don't care. Just putting this on their "Hate Watch" page accomplishes their agenda--to put a stigma on good and decent Americans by equating them with racists, Klansmen, Nazis, terrorists...and this isn't the first time we've seen them resort to such smears and innuendo.

What a sordid, filthy tactic. These creatures ought to be ashamed of themselves. That they're not tells us all we need to know about them.

    I confess.... I am a hater.

I hate the Southern Poverty Law Center.

I hate the Violence Policy Center.

    I hate the Brady Campaign.

In order to spare you a "character limit" long post, I'll cut it short and say I hate anyone who distorts the truth in an effort to take away my God given right to Keep and Bear Arms mentioned in the Declaration of Independence and specifically protected by the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United Statea.

Whew! I feel much better now.

These words are engraved on the Jefferson Memorial:

"I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every from of tyranny over the mind of man."

There are some forms of hatred that SPLC would do well to emulate. Problem being, of course, that said eternal hostility would rightly be aimed at them and their ilk. TANSTAAFL

I know Skip and I can atest to his patriotisim. The SPLC is the most hateful racist group I can think of. I can't be in DC on the 19th of April, I will however be at the capital in Des Moines Iowa. I have to be there since Skip recruited me to be the Iowa state coordinator for the Second Amendment March. I hope every gun owner can make it to a march. If not in DC, maybe a local march like the one we are having here. You can get the details at www.secondamendmentmarch.com Contact the coordinator in you state. We need people to distribute flyers and collect signatures on our petition.

If all gun owners are also "haters", why is the Southern Law Poverty Center still in operation? If the haters hate so much, you'd think some of the haters in their area would have already taken care of these dipsticks! Those gunowner/haters seem to be awfully tolerant of these communist scumbags if you ask me.

The SPLC doesn't care about truth. All they care about is scaring their mostly elderly donor base out of a few more million donor dollars.

Most of those donors would be shocked to learn that SPLC founder Morris Dees was a successful Klan lawyer in the 60s, and that NONE of the SPLC's top ten, highest paid executives are minorities.

The last remaining "Whites Only" sign left in Montgomery is in the board room of the SPLC.

For that matter, the SPLC spent half a million more donor dollars on fund-raising postage than it did for "legal case costs" last year, and twice as much more on fund-raising printing costs.

I am most definitely ANTI any form of involuntary government. The only legitimate government is SELF government in voluntary cooperation with other self governors.

I have no problem with anyone who "hates" anything. That's their problem. It only becomes my problem when they use that hate as an excuse to attack me. Then my response becomes their problem too.

And yes, it does seem strange that all those hateful gun owners have not done something to effect an attitude adjustment at the SPLC. Wonder what it will take...

It is typical of the Alinskites to try and demonize anyone they disagree with. I'm so sick of these constitution hating leftist I could puke and I think that just about everyone I know feels the same way.

I love reading all the comments on here. It cracks me up. There is absolutely nothing about this group or any other like them that is good. Mean, sociopathic, biggoted, racist, hypocritical, venom spewing, crackercrookers that need to be overwhelmed with the things they protest against, maybe taunt them enough that they become so cross that they make an irreversible mistake. One that could never be reconciled.

    Keep on keepin' on.

The SPLC is a much discredited organization with a very shady fundraising record. The SPLC has no more credibility than the KKK or any other agenda-driven radical group.

--- The tax-exempt SPLC flunked an audit by the Arlington-based Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance, which requires that "a reasonable percentage, at least 50 percent of total income from all sources, should be applied to programs and activities directly related to the purposes for which the organization exists." The SPLC spent 89 percent of its total income on fund-raising and administrative costs. ---

SPLC is just one entity in a large number of entities promoting supremacist agenda. We all know the the nature of the agitators as they use consistent tactics of lying, intimidation, stealth and cunning. Question is, what are we going to do about getting rid of them?

For all their talk about rednecks, the right, conservatives, teabaggers, Town Hall Protestors, racists, free speech, etc the leftist Democrats are the worst and absolutely most tyrannical group of people this nation has ever been inundated with. They write Hate laws and charge American citizens with being NAZI'S(like Nancy Pelosi did to average Americans protesting at their own townhalls,)they disrespect the men in the military, (like Barbara Boxer did to an American general when he respectfully called her Mamm, standard talk in the military),and they take the sides of foreign nationals that commit crime, depress Americans wages, and tell Americans to go back to Europe because this is their land. How can anyone today, be a member of the Democrat Party. I'm not saying the Republicans are any better, we need a third party, but at least the Republicans aren't as utterly gross as these leftists are. The Southen Povety Law Centa, are SCUM, abosolute leftist communists SCUM.

    Scaramouche says:

"If they don't like the rights at the very foundation of our nation, I suggest they start their own."

"We must rebuild America from its foundation." -- President Barak Husein Obama

As a matter of fact, that's exactly what they are doing, preparing to build a new America, in a European socialist model. But first they need to complete the destruction of the one that has existed since 1789.

""We'll go through the gate, if the gate is closed we'll go over the fence, if the fence is too high we'll pole vault in, if that doesn't work we'll parachute in, but we're going to get health care reform passed for the American people." -- Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi

But the gate Speaker Pelosi refers to is the refusal of the American people to accept her version of what health care reform should look like. "Of the people, by the people and for the people"? Not hardly. Not in the new America Obama and Pelosi have in mind for us.

THE SPLC IS A HATE GROUP ENGAGED IN FRAUD AND RACKETEERING.
WHY MORRIS DEES NEEDS TO BE DISBARRED IN VARIOUS STATES.

Thank you for the great article. I was sick and disgusted as I read this.

SPLC has a good scam going--any group that is patriotic and cares about this country is labeled a hate group.

But what most Americans do not understand that the SPLC does not have any special authority or right to do that, more than any other guy on the street.

SPLC's scam is mainly to make money. The lies of this hate group is to advance this fraud by bilking the donors using tactics of mail fraud, wire fraud and racketeering.

Every group that he defames by calling a "hate group" should file complaints with the state bars of the various states against Morris Dees and have him disbarred, since I think, a lot of his dirty tricks and scams appear to violate the rules of professional conduct. For example, many state bars prohibit false statements to 3rd parties or violations of the law. Calling innocent groups as hate groups and making those statements to 3rd parties is often unethical unprofessional conduct warranting disbarment. Defaming other parties is a violation of the law (defamation) and is often unprofessional conduct warranting disciplinary action.... Contd.
