UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Mark Walters and he asked me if I could come on at 9:00 pm instead of 9:30.
HR 822, the national concealed carry reciprocity bill that passed Wednesday in the House of Representatives, will be the focus of this evening's Armed American Radio show with host Mark Walters. Special guests to discuss the bill include NRA's Andrew Arulanandam, followed by Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America.
This correspondent will be joining the program again at 9:30 pm Eastern for the regular weekly discussion on the latest developments in the unfolding "Project Gunwalker" story. Topics to be explored include:
- Phone conversation recording between Operation Wide Receiver confidential informant Mike Detty and then-ATF Special Agent in Charge, Phoenix, William Newell (also see here).
- Professor says Gunwalker "no comparison to Watergate."
- REPUBLICAN Prosecutors say Gunwalker not a crime.
- Terry murder case records sealed.
Also on the program:
- Some insight into the mind of anti-gun Domino's pizza as well as others and why exactly they seem to embolden criminals with their employee no/guns policy
- Preparation Avoidance, Awareness, some great emails, your calls and MORE!
Join the show at 8:00-11:00 pm Eastern/5:00-8:00 Pacific, by clicking here, then select "Where to Listen" for a station near you, or "Listen Live" to tune in via the Internet. Call live on air at 877-956-9566!
- A Journalist’s Guide to ‘Project Gunwalker' for a complete list with links of independent investigative reporting and commentary done to date by Sipsey Street Irregulars and Gun Rights Examiner. Note to newcomers to this story: “Project Gunrunner” is the name ATF assigned to its Southwest Border Initiative to interdict gun smuggling to Mexico. “Project Gunwalker” is the name I assigned to the scandal after allegations by agents that monitored guns were allowed to fall into criminal hands on both sides of the border through a surveillance process termed “walking” surfaced.
