This is absolutely sick and on many levels. Not only are those in power doing everything they can to destroy freedom and liberty, we the people are doing next to nothing to stop them. In fact, we keep electing them over and over again. Our founding fathers knew from experience that men are corrupted. That is why they gave us the best form of Government ever devised, of the people, by the people and for the people. They just didn't expect we the people to turn into cowards!
This should never be prosecuted. If it is, the jury should nullify the charge and free the homeowner. If neither of those things happen this case should be appealed to the highest court necessary to remove this obscene blight on justice. If for no other reason than to figureatively send a bayonetted rifle right back at Hizzoner da Mare. BOHICA Little Dick, aka the right honorable Richard Daley Jr.
Where is the NRA to defend this man? Where are all of these so-called gun rights organizations? Is there a fund raiser where every gun owner could contribute one dollar and with eighty million gun owner this could be a big defense fund? The cops don't have to find anything and the mother is as delusional as the mayor. Her son was a repeat offender, a burden on society, and a killer in the making. He was also an apparent BS artist.
Daley should be prosecuted for denying citizens their Second Amendment right as well as their right to self-defense. I hope the NRA or other gun organizations offer to help this 83 year old gentleman pro bono! Daley needs to live in Great Britain for six months where people are prosecuted for self-defense. He'd be "right at home" over there! Too many liberal anti-gunners in Chicago I guess,since Daley gets re-elected over and over. If it weren't for the good law abiding gun owners I'd say keep him in office; the liberals deserve this reprobate!
In a way this like the Border situation. The Government WILL NOT stop their rush for AMNESTY at all costs. And So a rancher recently gets muerdered "on his own property". And here a homeowner is robbed first (thankfully not killed) and in being robbed is being Terrorized. Then defends himself, and is in danger of prosecution.
