Steven was subject to the draft lottery during Vietnam. He wrote op-ed pieces and letters to editors, published anti-war stuff in my High School paper all by 17 years old. Henry Kissinger didn't lke his "coupon-clipping campaign," as KIssinger called it, at a press conference after he sent an angry letter-against the illegal incursions in Laos and Cambodia-to the 100 most widely circulated daily newspapers(from the L.A. Times to the NY Times geographically) and requested readers to clip my letter and mail it in to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. He then went to college, graduated at 21 years old with two majors(pol sci & psyc), two minors(econ & inter. relns). Got into Democrat party politics and was elected to his town committee at 18, elected a delegate in CT's first Pres. primary, and VP of the Young Dems.
