Review: Udi's Gluten Free cinnamon rolls

Udi’s makes the best gluten-free bread and muffins as well as good pizza crust, bagels, and granola.  They are made in a dedicated gluten-free bakery in Denver, Colorado. The most expensive item they sell is the pack of four cinnamon rolls, which was purchased for $7.49 at Whole Foods. The cinnamon rolls, like most Udi's Gluten Free products, are free of dairy, soy, and nuts. Surprisingly, one large cinnamon roll only has 260 calories and 7 grams of fat.

The four cinnamon rolls come with two icing packs. After squeezing some icing on top and warming it in the microwave, the cinnamon roll is soft and delicious. The icing has the perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon, while the texture of the roll resembles gluten!

Speak to the bakery manager for assistance in locating Udi's products in stock at Whole Foods. Today at the Kentlands Whole Foods, the gluten-free freezer was freshly stocked with Udi’s breads, bagels, and cinnamon rolls. It appears that they often receive their Udi’s shipments on Wednesday mornings. Some Whole Foods may keep the Udi’s products at room temperature with the regular bakery products or in a refrigerated case. While Whole Foods doesn’t seem to carry the muffins, they can be purchased at MOM’s.

Udi’s Gluten Free has new double chocolate muffins, which can be ordered online. Looking for gluten-free food to bring on a trip? Udi’s bread and muffins can be stored at room temperature and will taste fresh for several days without warming. The granola makes a great snack and can be added to yogurt or cereal. Udi’s is changing gluten-free life with its superb taste, texture, and convenience!

Haven't tried Udi's, but will look for it. Love Kneaded Specialties Cinnamon Rolls - my favorite. No Soy, No nuts, No Dairy/Casein. Good stuff.
