According to the Anti-Defamation League, Glenn Beck has "made a habit of demonizing the Obama administration and promoting conspiracy theories about it." The ADL, whose foremost mission is to stop the defamation of the Jewish people, is now targeting a fresh new blight on the American people: anti-government extremism.

"In the year since we marked the historic election of the nation's first African-American president we have seen a tremendous amount of anger and hostility. There is a toxic atmosphere of rage in America being witnessed at many levels, and it raises fundamental questions for our society.” Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.
Is it conceivable that all this venomous hate-spewing began when President Barack Obama took office? Well, it did-- according to the ADL. But from where exactly does this anti-government "rage" originate?
ADL issued a report on November 16th describing exactly who and what is responsible for an alarming trend in political climate change. "Rage Grows in America: Anti-Government Conspiracies" documents various co-conspirators who are to blame for the "toxic atmosphere of rage in America." and talk show host, Glenn Beck, made the top of the list:
"The most important mainstream media figure who has repeatedly helped to stoke the fires of anti-government anger is right-wing media host Glenn Beck, who has a TV show on FOX News and a popular syndicated radio show."
If it is any consolation, Glenn Beck is not the sole source of anti-government vitriol-- even though he’s earned the title as “fearmonger-in-chief” from the Anti Defamation League. The ADL report also implicates Fox News Channel, rowdy Town Hall meetings, and Tea Party activists as "various sources of anti-government anger."
If one is unsure as to what characteristics exemplify this wave of anti-government animosity, ADL provides the following statement:
“What characterizes this anti-government hostility is a shared belief that Obama and his administration actually pose a threat to the future of the United States.”

Wow, I guess it doesn't matter to the ADL that Beck is simply speaking the TRUTH? Did Beck call Van Jones an "avowed Communist"? Nope, Van Jones called himself that. Did Beck say Anita Dunn say Mao was one of her favorite philosophers? No, Anita Dunn said that.

Where was the ADL when the liberals were trashing Bush on a daily basis? I'm no fan of President Bush, but fair's fair.

I'm not that familiar with the ADL, but no one on Fox News cares whether what they're saying is true or not. They don't have to, because they have a credulous audience that is looking for information that reinforces their pre-existing biases. Let's turn this around: if Beck is such a truthteller, where was he during the Cheney-Rove administration?

Okay, Okay, I do watch Glenn Beck, usually for fun, and occasionally he touches on topics that I like--like our collapsing economy (this I've been saying with my friend since 2006 and continue to blame on bush), or people's attacks on guns. I am a pro gun, pro balanced economy, pro choice, anti-religion American, and I voted for Barack Obama. I'm dissapointed with him, I don't like what he's doing. He's expanding government, and i don't like the expansion of government. I hated it when Bush did it, so of course I'm going to hate it when Obama does it to. I even wrote a novel when Bush did it, and I was only sixteen at the time. It was about the culture of fear, used to trick people into going along in the war. And if memory serves, people have 9/11 truthers, anti-Bush rallies, marches on Washington screaming and declaring bush a war criminal (which he is). But is Glenn Beck saying anything new. No, he's not.

Look at all the people that resigned after Beck exposed videos of them! Anita Dunn, Van Jones, and the NEA director (Sargent, I believe). It's all there people! Videos of Obama endorsing SEIU, Andy Stern visiting the White House 22 times (check whitehouse.gov), his czars making pro-communist remarks (pro-Castro and Chavez).
