Charice fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The 18-year-old singer was set to perform on the last stop of the David Foster and Friends tour. But she was thrown off because of some bad sushi. Despite her trip to the hospital, the talented singer managed to pull off two standing ovations at the show.
Hours before her performance, the "Glee" star was brought to a hospital in Singapore due to food poisoning.
Charice was rushed to the hospital before the concert "because she was vomiting," her mom, Raquel, told ABS-CBN News in a phone interview.
After being treated, Charice is now resting and recovering nicely.
Charice’s management reportedly cancelled her press conference scheduled on Saturday afternoon, but the “David Foster and Friends” concert is pushing through.
Charice will be heading back to Los Angeles soon to resume filming on the "Glee" set. And in less than two weeks, we will welcome her return as Sunshine Corazon on the hit Fox comedy.
Get well soon, Charice!
