Nobody on the earth is more happier with Floyd Mayweather Jr than Antonio Margarito is. It's pretty amazing when you think about it. Not too long ago Tony was banned from boxing and negotiations were taking place between Mayweathers people and Pacquiao's people. What a difference a short amount of time can make.
Fast forward to today and you have the guy who was banned from boxing locked into a deal to fight the games best fighter, Manny Pacquiao. You have a guy in Floyd Mayweather going online and launching a childish racial rant like an insecure 10 year old would do.
Mayweather was not very liked from the get go, but now? Now even his own fans have turned away from the guy, and the Filipino fans would just as well like to see him struck down by lightning.
Margarito did something very bad, and in my opinion he should not have been granted a license to fight. The fact of the matter is, he did get the license, and now we have a fight. Pacquiao has taken some heat from a few people out there, but who cares? The fight is a done deal so now it's time to cover it, and watch it once it happens.
Mississippians that I have spoken to about Floyd's latest rant are overwhelmingly disgusted with him. I spoke to Stan Nichols, who is the national Chairman of USA Boxing's Rules and Regulations Commitee. Nichols, who works with hundreds of young amateur fighters across the south eastern part of America had this to say, " I am disgusted with what Floyd had to say. There are a lot of kids in boxing that actually look up to this guy, and for him to behave in the manner is repulsive. There was a time when Floyd took $150,000.00 dollars out of his own pocket and sponsored a youth boxing tournament in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is the Floyd that needs to come back to boxing, not the current Floyd."

because of floyd's latest racist diatribe against manny, people are losing interest in seeing him in a match against pacman. a lot more people are sayin floyd doesn't deserve a huge payday for what he said. floyd's legacy is crumbling right before our very eyes while congressmanny's legacy continues to soar to new heights.

True color of a person comes out when confronted by jealousy and truth. Truly believe that floyd , his dad and uncle are racist not only to filipinos, but to other races as well, esp white americans, basing upon the recent and previous comments that they had made, but I could be wrong. Do we accept his apology? perhaps, but I know some people wont. Do we label all black american a racist? Of course not. Its Floyd crime alone, he's responsible for it not others. thats gayweather in his finest, he was very quiet during the deadline for him to sign the fight against his worst nightmare manny pacquiao & gone into hiding but when the smoke cleared, he jumped out of the foxhole & started doing what he does best ( not fighting) but trashtalking.. it clearly shows that this is a very cowardly act.
