The 2011 red carpet fashion season kicks off with the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 5. From who's wearing whom and what, to who will rock and bomb on the red carpet, red carpet fashion fans are looking forward to this year's red carpet trends, highs and lows.
For fashion observers, the People's Choice Awards are a fashion preview of the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and ultimately, the Academy Awards. We hope that the nominees and presenters step out with their A-game on Wednesday night.
Last year, Hollywood fashionistas rocked the red carpet in amazing dresses and accessories. From Jessica Alba in Antonio Berardi to Mary J. Blige in Gucci, and Sandra Bullock in Vivienne Westwood, everyone started the year out at the top of the stylish pack.
As we await another stylish parade at this year's event, let's take a look back at the highlights of the best and worst dressed fashionistas on the 2010 People's Choice Awards red carpet.
First up is Jessica Alba. The actress took fashion to new heights in her sizzling, sexy, silver Antonio Berardi dress and sky high Burberry Prorsum platforms. We usually love Jessica's elegant, chic style, but she scored more bonus fashion points with that silver stunner.
Diane Kruger usually dazzles on the red carpet. Last year she rocked a sexy, white Hervé Léger mini, accessorized with a Bottega Venata clutch and Emilio Pucci studded heels. Even though her ensemble was underwhelming when compared to her usual red carpet looks, she still managed to stay on the best dressed list.
Repeat host, Queen Latifah was elegant and regal in her white, strapless Georges Chakra Spring 2010 gown. The draped gown accentuated her body and hugged every curve.
