President Elect Obama did more than just play golf and relax at his exclusive Kailua beachfront rental during his end of year Hawaii holiday. He spent time deciding on who would fill one of his key national security positions – Director of the CIA. His choice of an outsider to the intelligence community, Leon Panetta, has been both welcomed and criticized by intelligence experts.
Panetta achieved prominence as President Clinton’s Chief of Staff (1994-1997). He is a veteran political insider and his supporters hope he can rebuild morale in the CIA which was badly tarnished by faulty intelligence assessments that led to the Iraq war.
Significantly, Panetta is close to John Podesta who served as Panetta’s deputy during the Clinton Administration. Podesta eventually became Clinton’s Chief of Staff from 1998-2001. Podesta currently serves as co-chair of Obama’s transition team, and the selection of Panetta reflects Podesta’s influence.
Podesta has been an outspoken advocate of increased declassification of government documents. Both Panetta and Podesta were in key positions to support President Clinton’s Executive Order 12958 passed on April 17 1995. EO 12958 made it easier to declassify national security information that had been unnecessarily classified for decades.
Among the many classified national security files targeted for declassification were those related to FBI’s X-Files The X-Files was a term that could be traced to the FBI’s historic efforts to get to the bottom of the UFO phenomenon. These files were often categorized under "Flying Discs: Security Matter-X". The X-Files became immortalized in the hit television series of the same name.
During the Clinton administration, Podesta was open about his interest in the X-Files television series. This led to his support for declassification of many national security files, especially those concerning UFOs. On October 22, 2002, Podesta made a statement at the National Press Club concerning the legality of UFO information that has not been released to the public on national security grounds. He said: "I think it's time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of government investigations of UFOs.”
Interest in finding about UFOs in the Clinton administration wasn’t just limited to Podesta.
Webster Hubbell was a personal friend of President Clinton who had appointed him as associate attorney general of the Justice Department. In his autobiography, Hubbell wrote: "Clinton had said, 'If I put you over at Justice I want you to find the answers to two questions for me. One, who killed JFK? And two, are there UFOs?'... Clinton was dead serious. I had looked into both, but wasn't satisfied with the answers I was getting." .
Clinton’s interest in finding the truth of UFOs very likely influenced his choice of the last Intelligence Community outsider, who like Panetta, was asked to head the CIA. Former CIA Director James Woolsey was very interested in finding out about any UFO information secretly kept at the CIA. In fact, Woolsey was given an informal ‘briefing’ by Dr Stephen Greer in 1993 who told him what civilian researchers had discovered about UFOs. Woolsey then ordered the CIA to prepare a report on all its information about UFOs. Woolsey was part of a hushed up effort by the Clinton administration to find the truth about UFOs.
The choice of Panetta as CIA Director signals that the Obama administration is also interested in the declassification of files concerning UFOs. Panetta will likely spearhead efforts by the Obama administration to pressure the CIA to release its deepest held secrets – the CIA’s X-Files.

Just do it and lets clear out the nest of vipers who are responsible for hiding the truth all this time.
Declassification is part of "truth & reconciliation" with both the American people and with all others who have been violated by our unilateral militarism, predatory immoral capitalism, and virtual colonialism. That is a long-term project. UFOs are also important, that and the underground cities for the elite to "survive" a nuclear exchange we start is all becoming public now. HOWEVER, what Panetta REALLY brings to the table as former D/OMB and Chief of Staff at the White House is a deep knowledge of how BAD intelligence ("decision-support") for the President really is, as well as non-existent for all others; AND what the President, Cabinet, and Congress "need to know"that they are NOT getting from anyone at all--most of what they get is spin from stake-holders. Now you all know that Our elite have told us that the build up of stockpiles of nuclear weapons of genocidal planetary destroying power, were built to allow our elite to continue to do 'good things' for us all.
Now, if you have been thinking at all about all the 'good things' that our elite sit around planning everyday to do for us, well, you may have noticed that sometimes they 'fib' a little bit, every now and then.
Now you may say to yourself, well, they are only building these weapons to prevent the 'other people' from using their nuclear weapons on us; isn't that the truth?
Now ask yourself the question: "Could they be 'fibbibg' to you?"
This massive stockpile of nuclear weapons are here to do 'good things' for us? Isn't that what they are for?
Now think for a moment again and ask yourself, "Could they be 'fibbing' about what these weapons were really built for?
Now go watch the movie the "Night of the Living Dead," and think about it for an extended period of time.
Now if at some moment you consider that our elite may have been 'fibbing' to you, you may ask yourself; "well, if they are 'fibbing' to me now, could they have been 'fibbing' to us for all of these years?"
Now repeat after me: "I am one of the Living Dead." Try it again, "I am one of the Living Dead."
Now ask yourself the question once again; "Are they 'fibbibng' to me about the true plans for these massive stockpiles of nuclear weapons?"
Can you say "Living Dead?"
too often conspiracy buffs end up as political partisans (usually pro left)in spite of their own caveat "elected officials have been kept out of the loop since roswell ."
the only way obama might shake things loose is if nasa spills the beans when/if obama cuts off funding .
Easier said than done, the CIA has to get the NSA, DOD, NASA, SETI, and the FBI to hand over info. Problem being some are in denial because of secrecy laws and need a presidential decree of minimum admonishment and pardon for concealment in a democracy. They will surely find the bottomless pit the US$ has been poured down without question. Disclosure is the only way out now because far too many witnesses are willing to testify before a senate committee under oath.
Not sure how long that'll take but the point that keeps rolling over in my head with them actually releasing any information is the snowball effect.
I've got to say that at times it doesn't feel like we have a government. It feels more like overbearing parents! Sometimes our parents know whats best for us and sometimes they don't. Our "parents" need to remember, that "we" as your "children" can only "grow" if they are open, honest and truthful and help guide us.
Because we all need guidance.
