Extraterrestrial bases and contact revealed in Italy

Mass Contacts
Mass Contacts. Available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble

A new book details the history of a mysterious group of human looking extraterrestrials that established underground bases in Italy and met with local residents between 1956 and 1978. The author of Mass Contact, Stefano Breccia, is a well regarded Italian UFOLogist with an electrical engineering background who has taught at several Italian and foreign universities. He investigated the Amicizia (Friendship) case over a period of several decades during which he got to meet and question many of the primary witnesses. In the book, Breccia includes the testimony of Bruno Sammaciccia, a highly qualified Italian scholar with degrees in psychology and psychiatry, and author of 160 books. Sammaciccia’s testimony contains his claims of direct physical contact with extraterrestrials over several decades. Leading Italian UFOlogist, Dr Roberto Pinotti wrote the Preface to the book and acknowledged his own decades long knowledge of the Friendship case, and the extensive evidence supporting it. Some of the many photos taken of UFOs and extraterrestrials in the Friendship case rank among the best quality ever taken. In terms of its overall impact, number of participants involved, and documentary evidence compiled, Mass Contact is the most astonishing case of human extraterrestrial contact in modern history.

In the Preface, Dr Pinotti describes his amazement at overhearing his university professor talking about extraterrestrials while taking his final doctoral exam at the University of Florence in 1969. Upon approaching the professor and telling him of his interest in UFOs, the Professor asked Pinotti: “Are you aware of the underground alien base near Pescara and of its logistics.” Pinotti said it quickly became apparent that his professor belonged to the secret fellowship “which had been created in order to help the aliens in their enterprises on our planet.” Pinotti was able to confirm that “a group of human looking aliens from far away stars had built a huge underground structure along the shore of the Adriatic sea.” It was only with the passing away of Sammaciccio in 2003 that Pinotti decided to come forward to reveal his own knowledge of the case: “because in his will there was the request that his story be made known, without causing problems to anyone, I acknowledged that [it] was my duty to contribute to the truth, as much as possible.”

The story of Mass Contact began in 1956 when Bruno Sammaciccia and two friends met with two mysterious individuals who said they were extraterrestrials. One was over 8 foot tall while the other was just over 3 foot. Sammaciccia and his friends, initially skeptical, were eventually taken into a large underground base where they saw more of the alleged extraterrestrials. They also saw their children being educated, some of the advanced technologies they used, and their space ships. Finally convinced that they were really having physical contact with extraterrestrials, Sammaciccia and his friends began to help the extraterrestrials. They began with material support by arranging for truckloads of fruit, food and other material to be transported and unloaded at an extraterrestrial base. Eventually, two truckloads of supplies were being delivered every month to bases in different regions of Italy where Sammaciccia and his assistants lived.

Sammaciccia describes the various people involved in the case and who had direct meetings with the extraterrestrials. The individuals involved grew over time as Sammaciccia assisted the extraterrestrials in helping prepare humanity for the reality of human looking extraterrestrials from other planets. Breccia said that he personally met and interviewed almost 80 people who worked with or met the extraterrestrials. Most were in Italy, but others were from other countries that also had been exposed to the same group of extraterrestrials. Many of the extraterrestrials could easily blend into human society and even take normal jobs when necessary. The Friendship case helps confirm the accounts of a number of American contactees and whistleblowers that human looking extraterrestrials have blended into human society and have walked among us.

Sammaciccia finally described a violent conflict between two factions of extraterrestrials trying to influence humanity’s development and future. While his ‘Friendship’ faction promoted cosmic unity and ethical development, the other faction promoted technological development at all cost. This led to periodic violent clashes between the factions. Eventually, the underground bases of Sammaciccia’s extraterrestrial friends was destroyed in 1978. Survivors had to leave the Earth but promised to return at a future time when humanity was ready for a more ethical future of humanity interacting with extraterrestrials.

Sammaciccia’s astounding story sounds like an episode from Star Trek, but it is well supported by documentary evidence, some of Italy’s finest UFO researchers, and first hand witnesses of the events described. Some of the witnesses were leading statesmen, scholars and high society figures from Italy and Europe. Breccia includes a number of prefaces and statements by witnesses detailing the extensive number of people involved in the Friendship case. The English version of the book, however, suffers from poor translation, unnecessary coverage of other cases, and lacked a table of contents and index. Also, the cover does not do justice to the profound material in the book. Despite these limitations the book is highly recommended reading. It provides an excellent summary of the extensive evidence of extraterrestrials having secretly lived and interacted in Italy over a twenty two year period. As more material and witnesses emerge in Italy and other countries, the Friendhip case may be what finally confirms the reality of extraterrestrial life.

[Event Notice: Prof Stefano Brecia will be speaking about the Friendship case at the upcoming Earth Transformation Conference on the Big Island of Hawaii (January 7-12, 2010).The conference features 12 international speakers discussing healing, new science, consciousness and extraterrestrial contact.]

Eye witness testimony is all very well but it appears to me that you claiming that a "huge underground structure" or else referred to as "underground bases" was/were destroyed in a manner that lead to zero collateral damage - leaving no physical trace at all behind? No non-terrestrial artifacts or traces, either mechanical or biological, are available for study?

Even assuming advanced technology, this seems to me to be a hard pill to swallow.

Eyewitness testimony without physical evidence to back it up is, in fact, pretty much worthless for describing anything other than fantasies or emotional states.

Looks for me just like another UFOtainment publication. As super-duper shocking-secret story, soleyly written for the purpose to syphon out money off the wallets of ET/UFO-worshippers. So the description of the book reads like a machine-gun fire of sweet anecdotical episodes, while loads of dazzeling, impressive academic titles should kill every healthy skepticism, aka a demand for a tangible proof. If such a thing like ET-inhabited underground bases existed in a densly pupulated European country (Italy is) we had pretty much tangible proofs, and, hundreds of archeologists would dig for the ultimate evidence of the hypothesis, we were not alone. However there is simply nothing. And no, CIA-agents (who allegedly remove every hair of an ET) are not stationed in Italy.

So my suggestion is, US residents should buy the book - but only for to reason to support their economy. Without their widespread, multi-billion UFO/conspiracytainment industry, that sucked in more people than every other cult on earth, US economy collapsed completly for a while.

We have to start living in the real world. Real preparations for first contact must start in a serious tone. The masses must be readied to cope with the social, economic, spiritual, and political implications of contact. Real intelligence gathering must be done on this issue with a creed of "extraordinary claims must be match by extraordinary evidence". I simply cannot see this discipline of exopolitics becoming a legitimate force if this fantsyland mentality continues to intrude on this most serious issue

Ditto to the previous comments from Shol'va and John Pate.

This does seem to me to be more razzle-dazzle and hocus pocus "UFOtainment" - with no substantial beneficial potential for helping to resolve, or even improve, the most critical problems and needs for desirable future human habitation on this planet - pretty much worthless, except for, primarily, "money off the wallets of ET/UFO-worshippers" to support the comfortable to splendid life styles of those duplicitous and self-righteous ET/UFO promotion and marketing savvy "experts"/‘insiders’ who are perpetually competing, arguing and fighting among themselves about which of those, in the "multi-billion UFO/conspiracytainment industry," is credible, or not – while ignoring more low profile, knowledgeable and experienced ‘outsiders’ who, primarily, generate financial income outside of the "multi-billion UFO/conspiracytainment industry."

Just registering The Cosmic Detective’s yawn of skepticism, observations and point of view.

Stefano Breccia, author of Mass contacts, came in my town to give a conference 3 weeks ago. He brought his experience with the Friendship and talked about the interactions he had with some individuals who contacted him by phone, letter and fax. He said that in 1978, during the ultimate battle between the two factions, a fisher boat was destroyed in the sea and two fishermen died, because of a storm caused by the conflict happening in the undersea basis. Those storms and boats incidents were reported by the local press, together with the several sightings in the area.
(researchers of the Marina Geological Institute explain the sudden storms in the Adriatic sea as the result of seismic activity, that frees natural gas from the underground and allows it to come out, through pockmarks’conical depressions).
I think that what is important, is to see possible different ways of communication between us and other civilizations. While some people report telepathic exchanges, others receive verbal and written signals and others interrelate with other kind of codes.
I enjoyed the conference because of its diplomatic implications and not for its physical evidence.
I think that the intent of exopolitical analysis is to explore what is happening around the UFO and ETH phenomenon, with a political and sociological perspective.
Sorry for my bad English, my mother tongue is Italian.

The reason why there is never any physical evidence is these beings are not physical.
They are spiritual, manifesting themselves in a physical “like” form.
Sure they’re smart. They use to be in heaven and have around since the beginning of time.
They are refereed to as “familiar spirits”, familiar with everything since the beginning of time.
Ask any of these “experts/Dr.” if they believe in a living God who sent a savior to deliver
    the human race from sin.
No, the ETs with deliver us for

I am so amazed at the blindness of the atheist and agnostic anti-ufo crowd. Anything ouside their paradigm of unbelief or of anything that our backwards science cannot stab, prod or throw under a microscope is essential relegated to the halls of unbelief.

Indeed thay are to be the ones pitied. I am not saying I agree in totality with the above article, but if someone comes along and says "I do not believe in God, or angels or other spiritual beings I immediately place them in the "box to be p

such bases and contacts are not so rare- but this info is strong controlled by the money/mil./materialistic power yet. As in the KOLDAS CASE in Durban in the 60ths. Or the KORENDOR case about in the same time, and not at least the ummmo-contacts thru the50ths to now. All reported on galactic.no/rune/englETdatabase.htm

This has nothing to do with being skeptical. But in the absence of evidence, its just a story.
