The debacle at Notre Dame is shameful. What kind of message does this send to the unbeliever. A College that claims to be Catholic blatantly disobeys it's bishops and and magisterium in giving a public platform to a pro- abortionist. The darkness has overwhelmed that university when it's priest are arrested while protesting the culture of death.

The world has enough trouble conceiving that there is salvation and One Way to the Father. How much harder is it for them when the public face of the Church seems to be two ways? one needs to be reminded of St. Patrick (of Ireland) and his prayer :

Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me

We are Christ to the world...or so we think.

NBC news was reporting about the protests at Notre Dame saying that polls indicated that a majority of Catholics are OK with the President being at Notre Dame, despite his pro-abortion stance. They reported that Mr. Obama won the Catholic vote in November.

I apologize for my misguided brethren, to those children who will die by the funding the US will give to impoverished countries for population control. I apologize to the children who will be harvested for stem cells. To the teens who will not be given the option to learn about abstinence, who are to be funneled through Planned Parenthood, regardless of age or reason.

I pray Father forgive them, but for my errant brethren, I can't say they don't know what they are doing.
