David Hedrick Camas Washington

There is a Marine in Southern Washington, Camas to be exact, who became famous because of YouTube and a sternly worded lecture at a Town Hall meeting. David Hedrick had the fortitude to bluntly call Representative Brian Baird to account on several issues. Health care, the teaching of our children, and the upholding of one’s oath to the Nation, were among the issues this brave Marine took Baird to task for.

Congressional District 3 in southern Washington covers Pacific, Lewis, Wahkiaium, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, and Thurston counties.

David Hedrick has since been interviewed by a number of news organizations, and a question he has been asked repeatedly is when he is going to run for congress against Brian Baird?

Well, that time is now. David has put up his website announcing he is exploring running for congress!

Congratulations David! The people of Washington and the United States will greatly benefit from your presence and solid common sense in the House of Representatives! His website can be found at: http://www.davidwhedrick.com/

With enough public support it could be expected that Mr. Hedrick will be removing the "This campaign is in its exploratory phase" from the bottom of his web page.

Here is David's Labor Day Tea Party speech on Monday 9-7-2009
