God Hand cover.

In 2006, Capcom released a wacky action Playstation 2 game titled God Hand. Despite mixed review scores, it became a cult hit. Don’t expect Capcom to continue publishing God Hand games in the future, however. Christian Svensson made the following statement on the Capcom-Unity forums when asked if there will be a new port or sequel:

“Good game, but I'd suspect this would be a really difficult sell on a number of levels.”

Perhaps one of the biggest reasons has to do with the developer of the game. The award-winning development studio, Clover Studio, was dissolved by Capcom in March of 2007. God Hand was their last completed project.
