Atelier Rorona Japanese box art.

Atelier Rorona for the Playstation 3 was released this past week in Japan. The latest title in the Atelier series got great review scores and is selling briskly. Naturally, role-playing fans in North America are wondering when they can get their hands on an English version.

They may not have to wait long. Nao Zook, the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, left the following message on the Playstation.Blog after being asked about Atelier Rorona in North America:

“I cannot say that we’ll bring the game to the US for sure at this moment, but we are working on bringing the game over here. So I am personally really hoping that we can!”

NIS America previously published the Atelier Iris trilogy as well as the spiritual successor, Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis, on the Playstation 2. They will also publish Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy on the same system this fall. Presumably, NIS America would release Atelier Rorona afterwards.
