Yakuza 3 Japanese cover.

The localization speculation of Yakuza 3 (known is Japan as Ryu ga Gotoku 3) has been gathering a bit of steam recently. According to Cyntec at NeoGAF, it seems like Sega will publish the popular Japanese Playstation 3 exclusive game in North America after all.

Cyntec further stated that the localization will be done in the same way as Yakuza 2: Japanese voices with English subtitles. Like its prequel, Yakuza 3 will also be a retail release. Finally, Yakuza 3 has no solid release date for North America yet.

While the third main game in the Yakuza series may be coming to North America, Sega has no plans to bring the spin-off title, Yakuza Kenzan, to the west according to Cyntec.
