As parents, we understand what it's like being responsible for the welfare of our children. We tend to second guess ourselves often and constantly worry that we are doing a good job. Are they eating the right foods? Do they get enough exercise? Did they brush their teeth well? Are they wearing clean underwear?
Author Fred Hahn wrote the book Strong Kids Healthy Kids to help answer some of those nagging questions. Mr. Hahn has been a professional trainer for more than 20 years and is certified by the American Council on Exercise. He uses that knowledge to show us how we can have strong, healthy children with just a few diet modifications and a simple 30 minute per week strength training routine. Each exercise has explianations about the muscles being worked, along with photos to demonstrate proper technique. Included are notes for parents so they can encourage and assist their child during the exercises.
Mr. Hahn also explains the science behind his training methods and answers some commonly asked questions that concern many parents when starting their children in a strength training program. But he doesn't stop there. You'll also find impressive case studies that show real-life success stories from the use of his program.
Nutritional advice? He has that covered too. From fantastic tips to rid your home of junk food, to recipies the whole family will love, you'll find yourself referring to this book again and again.
If you have children, you owe it to yourself and your kids to get this book. It will aleviate at least a few of those concerns about your child's well being. As for the dirty underwear thing, you'll have to find that out for yourself.
