As with the other Q and As World of Warcraft has published, the Paladin selection starts with a little information about where the Paladin is in the larger scope of things and moves onto where the class is going.
Greg Street talks about the Paladin's uniqueness lies within its abilities like the versatile Blessings and Seal/Judgment system. Nothing class changing is happening there in 3.2 but there are changes coming for th Paladin in Call of the Crusade.
One thing that's different for patch 3.2 is what stats your Paladin might look for on gear.
From the 3.2 PTR testing so far, it seems like some Holy paladins are taking a second look at Haste and MP5 possibly instead of Crit. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, and we will adjust as necessary, but it’s nice to see paladins at least consider the stats now before making a gear decision.
For Retribution Paladins there's good news. DPS is thought to be too low for this specialization resulting in,
buffing it in 3.2 through the new way Seal of Vengeance / Corruption will work. This Seal is designed to really deliver damage once the paladin gets five stacks up, which will make it the Seal of choice for boss fights. Seal of Command will be used in PvP or PvE for short fights.
Continuing through the Q and A we learn that Consecration's mana cost will remain unchanged, Divine Shield will have to deal with other class abilities like Mass Dispel and Shattering Throw, and one day Paladins might have a stand-alone interrupt (but not until they're more balanced).
Lastly, a cosmetic change is discussed. Librams are an important piece of gear to Paladins and some people want that piece to show up on their character. Although Street says it's something they'd like to be able to do, don't plan to see it in 3.2 since,"it took a long time to finally update the druid cat and bear art."
