Sega has announced the release date for Obsidian's sneaky action RPG Alpha Protocol. The title will arrive in North America October 6th.

Dubbed 'The Espionage RPG' on the box art, the game has you assuming the role of a rookie CIA agent, who apparently gets thrown way over his head into a senior staff mission, which I'm sure is where the fun begins.

Alpha Protocol's release will be a simultaneous launch on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Obsidian are the lads responsible for developing Fallout: New Vegas as well.
