Final Fantasy XI enthusiasts who've enjoyed the addition of The Mog Tablet Quest to this year's Adventurer Appreciation campaign will be happy to hear that the content is becoming a new game mechanic permanently for all players.

The quest has players looking for 11 hidden tablets scattered throughout the world and bringing them back to the Explorer Moogle in Jeuno's Ru'lude Gardens. Once all of the tablets are recovered, 'kupowers' are released all over Vana'diel for adventurers to utilize in certain areas including teleporation, providing gilfinder and treasure hunter traits for everyone, speed increases and more.

The powers will last for a week before the tablets scatter to the winds and the hunt begins once again. For more info check out the quest's full description.
