Nexon has announced an update for its free FPS Combat Arms that will add a new gameplay mode to the title.

The Fireteam Mode brings co-op play to the game for the first time, which up until now has only offered deathmatch style.

The mode puts a team of up to eight players into a hostage rescue situation in multiple stages in the level, while the opposing team tries to prevent.

Nexon claims Combat Arms has registered over two million users since it was launched last September.
