id Software has revealed more details for their free-to-play FPS Quake Live, including plans to release a new map every week for the next six weeks.

The first map, a slightly revised version of Hidden Fortress originally from Quake III Arena, will arrive Monday, with id promising a mix of new and classic maps in the next month and a half.
