If you've been following NVIDIA's new ION platform at all, you're probably slobbering enough to warrant the addition of a bib into your regular wardrobe. If you are not one of the loyal followers, then you are seriously missing out.
Even the less tech savvy users should take note. Why? Because future versions of your beloved netbook are going to get a much needed overhaul with this new ION platform. NVIDIA created a mini powerhouse that can process HD video. A feat of which the current line of netbooks dare only dream of. You may even be able to play some lower end games that elude you now.
When is it available? For PC...now. Netbooks will come later.
Zotac was first out of the gate to release a motherboard featuring NVIDIA's ION for the do-it-yourself (DIY) crowd. The board comes with anything from a single core to a dual core Intel Atom processor (the same or dual core version of the thing powering your current netbook). The board is a mini-ITX form factor which is similar to what comes in a Shuttle PC case. In otherwords, it is very small. That makes it perfect for a number of household and mobile purposes like a home theater PC (HTPC) , kitchen computer, netbook capable of watching blu-ray movies, or a low power desktop. I'm sure people will and have thought of many more uses.
So where does tweeting fit in to all of this? Good question. NVIDIA has been living and breathing this platform since its creation so they decided to run a Twitter contest to show it off.
Here is what you have to do to enter:
" ENTER OUR TWITTER CONTEST TO WIN THE FIRST NVIDIA ION MOTHERBOARD!
Follow these 2 steps to enter:
1. Follow @nvidiaion on twitter
2. From your twitter account, post something similar to:
Win the first NVIDIA ION motherboard! Contest rules at www.nvidia.com/ion Retweet and #winanion!
Winner will be announced on June 1st here and via a twitter post. Winner receives a ZOTAC IONITX-A-U with Atom 330.

It's as simple as that. I've already entered, of course. Get out there and tweet to win.... you twit.
