Matt Hurwitz talked to Giles Martin Thursday and sent us this little preview of the much anticipated "The Beatles: Rock Band" game.

What he told us:

I had a nice conversation with Giles Martin this morning, who is busy at work with engineer Paul Hicks at Abbey Road typing up loose ends on "The Beatles: Rock Band."   True to their (his and Hicks's) work on "Love," we have some pretty amazing and unique things to look forward to in the audio for the game -- things unavailable elsewhere on any other Beatles releases.  Not just the previously described session chatter while the songs are loading for play, but also unique ways of hearing the Beatles' music itself.

Can't wait to hear it!
And in a not completely unrelated matter, a spokesperson for Reverb Communications told us in an email the music sequencing of "The Beatles: Rock Band" will not be affected in any way by the death of Michael Jackson.

"The passing of Michael Jackson has no impact on our game," the spokesperson wrote.
