Ann Garrison grew up around a radioactive toxic mess called the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, in a gorgeous place, Washington's Olympic Peninsula, by way of Western Oklahoma, another gorgeous place. She's a compulsive writer who sometimes signs as AnnieGetYourGang.
Garrison is a member of the San Francisco Green Party's energy and sustainability working group, and writes for the "San Francisco Bay View, National Black Newspaper," the "Op-Ed News," and other publications on energy, economic, and peace and social justice issues. She has also appeared on NPR and Pacifica Radio stations, and on NBC News.
