The author has a 35 year history with endurance sports. Over the years he has competed in over 35 marathons, 14 Ironman Triathlons, and many road races of shorter distances. He went on to create the website ironstruck.ca that normally has visitors from over 85 countries every month. Building the ironstruck website was followed by the writing of four books, three of which are triathlon related. "Ironstruck...The Ironman Triathlon Journey", Ironstruck? 500 Ironman Triathlon Questions and Answers", and "Triathlete In Transition", an inspirational and informative guide for the beginner triathlete, have all been well received by the triathlon community.
