Obama, ACORN, Black Panther, media alliance empowered by DOJ

The New York Times, Washington Post, Time, Newsweek and the main stream media have not covered Eric Holder's dismissal of voter intimidation charges bought against members of the New Black Panther party in November.

Members of the House Judiciary Committee have asked for an explanation. Good Luck! Congress has refused to investigate the Democratic Party's slush fund, ACORN, in spite of indictments in l4 states and a high profile prosecution in Nevada.

Bartel Bull, a longtime Democratic activist, told Fox News he believes charges were dismissed by Eric Holder to protect the New Black Panther Party's ability to prevent ACORN-registered, ineligible voters from being challenged by poll watchers. Bull said,

...it is not the voters the New Black Panthers want to intimidate, it is the poll watchers...

The Washington Times broke the story. CNN did carry a brief statement by King Malick Shabaaz, who wielded a nightstick at the polling site. The DOJ decision did bar Shabaaz from showing up at a Pennsylvania poll site with his nightstick. Apparently, Shabaaz may show up at polling sites in other states with his nightstick. None of the three New Black Panthers was punished. In the spirit of empathy, they were only warned not to do it again. Shabaaz expressed his gratitude to President Obama and Eric Holder.

"We want to thank President Obama and his administration for dropping charges against us that were vindictively brought by the Bush administration," Malik Shabaaz told CNN. "We don't condone any type of illegal activity at polling stations."

Eric Holder has now enlisted the New Black Pathers to intimidate poll watchers who might object to the fraudulent voters registered by ACORN. And, President Obama's loyal jurnolist posse must be thrilled to get an extra dig at the vindictive Bush administration.

Blaming the Bush administration for DOJ persecutions, hiring and firing practices and targeted enforcement voter fraud allegations inspired hundreds of stories in the New York Times. With the staff cuts The Times must not have been able to cover the story linking the Obama Presidential campaign with ACORN fund raising activities. Various Fox News shows have accused the Times of intentionally killing the story, desite an obvious connection. The Obama campaign belatedly admitted to allocating $850,000 to an ACORN subsidiary.

Because he can, President Obama is determined to shift the burden from his campaign to taxpayers. Representative Barney Frank killed a bailout legislative amendment recently which would have denied ACORN bailout dollars. ACORN stands to receive millions of taxpayer dollars through hundreds of subsidiaries set up to hide donor and funding information.

The New Black Panther Party will be free to receive taxpayer dollars, funneled through ACORN, with the indirect approval of the Department of Justice. The New Black Panther Party can interpret the dismissal of the voter intimidation charges to mean they are free to carry on as long as they do not brandish weapons in plain sight.

The New Black Panther Party and ACORN are being empowered by the Obama Administration at the expense of the integrity of our elections. Eric Holder has promised to increase the Voting Rights Section's budget by 20% this year (in addition to the bailout millions that will go to ACORN). He has described opponents of the outdated Section Five oversight as "attacking" the historic legislation.

Vindictive oversight attacking the disenfranchised, or opposition to an empowered alliance between the New Black Panthers, ACORN and the Obama administration?  Isn't it time to report the other side of the story?

If they do it here - I do believe we need to confront them with cameras going? After growing up in NYC and a year in Southeast Asia - I'll be damned if they can intimidate me. 2010 is very important. Our country depends on it.

Howie, thanks for the comment. The previous and the Fox News story link a You Tube video of the incident. I doubt cameras or evidence will help. I just hope there are more citizens like yourself who will record the incidents anyway. Someday someone will care. Jan

This is incredible. The New Black Panthers is a registered hate group. Are we beginning to see a pattern here: Rev. Wright, The Nation of Islam
