Pesky Avondale resident arrested for shrooms

On Wednesday 22 year-old Avondale resident, Brandon McCreary was charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia. How dangerous can hallucinogens be?

When Avondale Police Department's Undercover Street Crimes Unit searched his home, without warrant, prior to being suspected of operating a large scale grow house of Psilocybin-variety-mushrooms or other nomenclature shrooms that 'you can definitely, totally put these on pizza supremes'.

Avondale Police Detective Reuben Gonzales had this to spew, "He was able to obtain a lot of this information on how to grow it, where to obtain the spores, directly off the internet...," Brandon McCreary had been righteously, "...drying and processing and packaging these mushroom[s] that were being sold on the streets."

They confiscated for there own use, 5 1/2 pounds of dried mushrooms consolidated into myriad baggies, 18 large plastic storage bins with freshly maturing mushrooms, among the various equipment for the growing system, a bedroom and bathroom of his were in use by the system limiting natural light and fabricated humidity for the deadly, pesky little liberty caps.

They also noted with their report that he was living with nosferatu and a bunch of his blood brothers because the rooms had been void of any natural light. Thick fog had been hanging in the household, also, with creative, strange looking vases littered the shelves and tables.

Police approximated that the bagged and tagged revenue would be sold between $7,700. And, no, he will neither be having pizza nor sharing a cell with a crazed, gimpy-toadstool-mucnhing gnome in lockup.

The anonymous tip led Brandon McCreary in the 4th Avenue & Madison Jail precendent days before he would qualify for lower insurance rates.
