No lie, a three course dinner for ten dollars and in fact, you get your angel wings because you are doing a good deed. This coming Thursday, March 31st the Hospitality & Tourism students from the National Academy Foundation High School, under the watchful eye and guidance of their mentor Chef’s Expression Catering, are going to experience what is like to build and run their own restaurant, from décor to degustation.
Before you read the menu, note that like any other restaurant reservations are required. There will be seatings at 6 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. - Guests can make reservations by emailing Christina Bracknell at cbracknell@bcps.k12.md.us or by calling 443-984-1599.
Like any good restaurant, the menu theme uses locally sourced ingredients where possible and oooh laa laa, the menu has a French accent. The guests will be able to choose from a menu of 3 first course meals ranging from fish to salad, 3 entrées including a chicken, beef or duck meal, concluding with 2 dessert options; banana ice cream or a chocolate cheesecake. This experience will give the hospitality students a real taste of the details in running a restaurant for one night.
