Holiday gift solution plus a chance to win $25,000 or an Audi

To me this is a no brainer. It is holiday time, you have gifts to buy for friends, family and business associates.  You know you are going to spend the money, why not take that money and buy a raffle ticket with the Restaurant Association of Maryland for $300 and get 13 - $25 gift certificates to local restaurants and a chance to win either $25,000 or an 2012 Audi A3, you even have additional options of winning $10,000 or $5,000 in 2nd and 3rd prize drawings. This is a major fundraiser for my ProStart – a high school culinary program.  All this is detailed in the video on this page.

The drawing is December 19th but if I were you, I wouldn’t wait – they do tend to sell out.

To purchase your raffle ticket, download the order form here.  For more information, contact Mary at RAMEF at (410) 290-6800 ext. 1017.

There are only 325 raffle tickets sold so your chances of winning are good, plus you get your initial investment back in restaurant gift certificates that you can use or give as holiday gifts.  No one loses.

The $25 gift certificates are to these participating restaurants:

1.       Sunset Grille

2.       Milton Inn

3.       Ruth Chris’s Steak House

4.       Da Mimmo

5.       Red Brick Station

6.       The Iron Bridge Wine Company

7.       Phillips Seafood

8.       Victoria Gastro Pub

9.       Galaxy 66

10.   The Melting Pot

11.   Brewer’s Alley

12.   Second Chance Saloon

13.   Baldwin Station

I have my ticket, in fact, I went in with a friend and we are splitting up the gift certificates and our fingers are crossed we walk away with some cash but I also know I’m supporting one of my favorite charities, ProStart.

If that isn’t in your budget than maybe you can donate $5 to the ProStart program
