In order to practice in everyday life ultimate fitness and living well everybody needs to become more mindful and enriched about individual happiness. Simple, effective everyday tips on how to live a more conscious and sustainable lifestyle were chatted over water bottles in New Hope, Pennsylvania. This group of meditative conscious trainers, instructors and consultants worked at schools, government agencies and corporations.
Stress reduction through nutrition for health and healing, principles of holistic health and longevity, and yoga and movement were major topics. The talks continued promoting a well-balanced lifestyle and making the world a more humane place to live and raise our families. Topics challenged and interested everyone and the following ideas blossomed to help everyone live a life worth living and really appreciated.
1. Create a yoga, meditation or pilates practice. Do this everyday for at least 30 minutes to combat stress personally and in the environment.
2. Breathe deeply, monitor your breath, and drink a lot of water to cleanse toxins from inside the body.
3. Try a heart rate monitor. Heart rate monitors are at most sporting good stores. This investment of about $50 is excellent if you're interested in knowing instantly the effects of your work-out program.
4. Start to think differently about food. Eat healthier and read labels. Fruits and vegetables rule! Eat protein and grains. Combine flax seed, olive oil and nuts into your nutritional plan.
5. Don't skip meals. This can sabotage your metabolism. Always eat breakfast. Attempt eating a small meal every 3 to 4 hours through the day. This will regulate your blood sugar and you won't get hungry or overeat.
