Chris Coleman arrested
Chris Coleman was arrested on May 19, 2009 while staying at his parents' house in Chester, Illinois. Coleman faces three counts of first degree murder for the deaths of his wife Sheri, and two sons Garret and Gavin. Since both Garret and Gavin are under the age of 12, the possibility of the death penalty is a factor should he be found guilty. He is currently being held without bond and is expected in court on Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
Reports have stated that Chris Coleman was involved with a woman from Largo. The woman has been a family 
Chris, Sheri, Garett, and Gavin Colemanfriend, and personal friend of the victim, Sheri Coleman, for years.

Police find glove believed to be used in Coleman family murder case!
The glove was found along Interstate 255 in Illinois, on the same route that Chris Coleman would have traveled to the gym, where he was on May 5, 2009, before the police discovered his wife and two sons were strangled to death. The glove reportedly appeared to have stains that resembled red spray paint, similar to the paint that was found in the home where the bodies were located. The killer allegedly scrawled a message on a wall with red spray paint. Forensics are being performed to determine finger prints and DNA on the inside of the glove.
Chris Coleman gave his fingerprints to police last week. Reports have alleged that he was romantically involved with a woman from Largo, Florida. Currently, Chris Coleman has not been named a suspect in the murder of his family.-updated May 18, 2009.
Chris Coleman has not been officially declared a suspect or a person of interest in the murders of his wife and two sons who were found strangled to death in Columbia, Illinois on May 5, 2009. Found in their home located on 2854 Robert Drive within the Columbia Lakes Estates subdivision, the victims are Sheri Coleman age 31, and her sons Garett Coleman age 11, and Gavin who was 9 years old. Now, according to an article by the St. Louis Post Dispatch , Chris Coleman was romantically involved with a woman from Largo, Florida. The article states that deputies have “acknowledged traveling to Florida last week”. It is believed that detectives came to Florida to interview the alleged girlfriend. Though Christopher Coleman, his family, and the police have refused to give a definite comment, the article states that two law enforcement sources have verified the existence of the Largo, Florida girlfriend. The article even states that the alleged girlfriend went to school with the victim, Sheri Coleman before she married Christopher, and was known as Sheri Weiss.
Donald Weiss, Sheri Coleman’s father who lives in Clearwater, Florida described his daughter as a,” beautiful person with a very bubbly personality. She had two beautiful boys. She was an absolutely perfect mother. She was devoted to Joyce Meyer's church. She was a wonderful human being who didn't deserve this, whose children didn't deserve this."
Sheri Coleman’s parents, Angela and Donald are divorced and both her mother and brother live in Chicago. Her family had moved to Largo, Florida while Sheri was still in elementary school. Sheri attended and graduated from Largo High School.
Attorney William Margulis is representing Christopher Coleman. On May 12, 2009, Coleman and his attorney went to the Columbia, Illinois police department where Coleman provided his fingerprints. On May 13, 2009, Sheri Coleman, Garett Coleman, and Gavin Coleman were buried in a private funeral. Later that day, Chris Coleman was followed by a number of unmarked police vehicles that are keeping close surveillance on his whereabouts. Major Jeff Connors, who is the lead investigator on the case, has indicated that they have a suspect in mind and expect to file charges. All information and evidence has been handed over to the State Attorney’s office and they are waiting for the green light to officially charge the suspect in question. At this point, they are not releasing the name of their suspect.
Update: May 14, 2009 Chris Coleman Resisgns from Joyce Meyer Ministries
Chris Coleman no longer works for Joyce Meyer Ministries, where he was employed as a security guard. After a 30 minute meeting with a spokesman for the ministry,Roby Walker, Chris Coleman officially resigned.
"After an internal inquiry, it was discovered that Chris Coleman had failed to follow a ministry policy during his employment. During discussion with Mr. Coleman on Wednesday, he submitted his resignation," Joyce Meyer spokesman Roby Walker said.
It is believed that Chris Coleman spent time with his alleged Largo, Florida girlfriend while traveling with the Joyce Meyer ministry.

I'm from St. Louis & follow the boards here regularly but not ones from Largo. So I have to ask: what say said CC girlfriend? and does she have an attorney? and unless i'm missing something, why haven't i seen reports on her benavior, her quotes, her relationship w/sheri coleman (supposedly her BFF)? again, unless i'm missing a lot, seems to me the info on this "girlfriend" is woefully slim. i'm sure st. louis media would pounce on any and all info re: this "girlfriend" if it were published, even just to provide new info to the hungry masses here. so..... comments anyone?
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW WHY NO NAME OR INFO HAS BEEN GIVIN ON THIS GIRLFRIEND....AND WONDERING IF MAYBE SHE IS ONE F THE WITNESSES ?
I know her very well, i am sure the whole country will know who Tara is by bed time thursday.
By the way, she lives in st pete, works as a waitress, and is the nicest person in the world.

Tara went to high school with Sheri, they were both cheerleaders (Tara is a year younger) and have remained friends since then. I don't know about the nature of her relationship with CC, I think we were all shocked about that, but I know that Tara is a very kind person and not the "Stripper" everyone keeps talking about. her parents are in Largo, I believe, and where we went to school, which i why that has been referenced.
