Casey Anthony latest news: Attorney Todd Macaluso leaves accused murderer’s defense team (video)
Attorney Todd Macaluso is leaving the high-powered legal team defending accused child murderer, Casey Anthony, who is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
According to WESH, Macaluso is dealing with disciplinary action with the California Bar Association.
Macaluso is facing one of the most serious allegations an attorney can face—misappropriation of client funds. According to the Bar’s motion, the attorney is accused of writing bad checks from a client’s account—one check amounting to over $100,000. If he is found guilty of wrongdoing, he will become an inactive member of the state bar.

Regarding his departure from the team, Macaluso said in a statement “While I regret not being able to proceed in her case as her attorney, I know she is in good hands with her current defense team.”
Macaluso has been vocal about Casey’s case, proclaiming she should not be in jail and that the defense will prove her innocent.

Well, boo hoo! Who gives a fat rats behind? Just another idiot gone from the dream team and what kind of member is he anyway? The charges against him speaks of his character if you ask me, is the the type attorney anyone would want? Not unless you need a "fix it" man and this is what Casey needs right now. If he can not keep his own doorstep clean, he can't do much for anyone else. Send is butt packing to his own area and cut out this crap!
i agree nanna bee, how much you wanna bet bozo baez is next, as soon as the bar finds out how he is getting paid. the anthonys were broke bfore caylee went missing... tot mom didnt even have gas money but they hired henry lee linda baden and andrea lyon? i can see how bozo got the job, he is a noname nobody but how did she afford all these other "high powered" lawyers? truth will come out real soon. bozo baez will be exposed for selling caylees pics for blood money in his pocket.. just wait and see

Wow! An attorney doing something wrong...I'm shocked! Besides the problem back home I think he wanted out anyway when he figured payday for the Anthony case won't be there for a couple of years. Ms Lyons can hold on forever, not to sure what Baez is doing for income.......
So lets see, so far casey has a lawyer who cries in front of juries to gain sympathy- then she gets exposed by making outrageous comments in her seminars, she also has attorney who is under CRIMINAL investigation for stealing money out of a clients bank account, and she has a lawyer (bozo baez) who has less than 2 years of lawyer experience... hahaha this just means that she will get the needle in her arm REAL soon

right on Nanna Bee...Do you all remember the movie Dumb and Dumber? Well this nightmare DUHfense team should try out for the major roles in the next movie, Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest!! Does Dumbo Baez have a clue that he is a laughing stock? It's one thing for people to think that you might be an a**hole, but, do open your mouth and remove all doubt is something else! He needs to go back to law school, if he ever did!!
Um, let's not be so fast to call this a "high-powered" legal team. Jose Baez, the lawyer who's been representing her the longest--who was the only one at first, was denied the right to even practice in Florida for 6 (or was it 8?) years after graduating law school. He owed child support...stuff like that. I wouldn't call that fool high-powered.
I AGREE with you all. I have been wondering all along how long lawyers can work without money. Well folks, who does it leave us???? I agree that everyone deservs a fair trial but how many people in KCs place can afford even one lawyer other than the one the state would pay for? So,as we all said right along...it wouldn't be fair to all of the other convicted murders to have a dream team....So sad too bad NOT!!!!
