Goose Island Clybourn brewpub has announced that tickets go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 1 for Stout Fest 2012. The annual celebration of all beers black will be held March 17 at noon, at the Clybourn brewpub, 1800 Clybourn Ave., Chicago. Ticket sales start at 11:00 a.m., at BrownPaperTickets.com.

Brewers from around the area will come out to offer pours of their best and brightest darkest beers. A $25 entry will get you 20 beer tickets for samples. Expect to find dry stouts, coffee stouts, fruit stouts, barrel-aged stouts and Imperial stouts. The lists of brewers attending (so far) is:

Based on previous Stout Fests, expect to be allowed to taste several variations on Goose Island’s Bourbon County Stout, plus Half Acre’s Big Hugs Imperial Stout. Should Three Floyds attend — and they’re not listed yet — you might get a chance at some Dark Lord and variants thereof.
