Police responded to a call that a woman had been shot this morning shortly after 2:00 a.m. The shooting occurred at 4th Street and 2nd Avenue, near the alley behind Pizza Luce.
The victim was sent to Hennepin County Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
On June 21st, there was another shooting outside Pizza Luce, also around 2:00 a.m. A man was talking on his cell phone when someone shot it out of his hand. The man's hand was injured and he was also sent to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Neither of the victim's names have been released and no one is in custody for the shootings. Investigations are ongoing.
