If you played Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, you already know that the GTA series went to Hollywood already, and while it did feature some missions in the area of Hollywood, it wasn't a major focal point of the game. Regardless rumor is Rockstar wants to head back to Hollywood per VG247.

Eurogamer has also heard that Rockstar is "definitely" interested in Hollywood for the next GTA  title, and have already started it's research on the area. VG247 went onto say that the location for the game could be revealed at a Max Payne 3 event that's coming up.

Rockstar of course is not commenting on rumors or speculation, so we have to wait until the official announcement.

Hollywood is not an independent city, it's in Los Angeles, so if they made the entire map in los angeles it would be pretty large. I think they should recreate San Andreas fully would just a Los Angeles would still be interesting and fun

what about a saint louis GTA

  • That would work, considering all the the areas they could incorporate. Imagine flying a plane under the Arch, and parachuting down to the east side!
