According to an article published in Politico earlier Wednesday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called for an investigation into the opponents of a mosque to be constructed at the site of the 9/11 attacks in New York. “I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded,” she said.
As Rasmussen reported in July, 58 percent of New Yorkers and 54 percent of all Americans oppose the planned mosque. Recently, ABC News reported Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) expressed opposition to the mosque.
Even some Muslims have misgivings about the project. Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, the general manager of Al-Arabiya television, wrote, “Muslims do not aspire for a mosque next to the 11 September cemetery, and are not bothered with Bin Ladin's cook being put on trial in a civilian court.”
Is the Speaker serious, or is she just seriously out of touch with reality? Calling for such an investigation is ludicrous and illustrates just how out of touch with the country she is.
The Daily Kos, hardly a bastion of conservative thought, said “No, thanks” to an investigation. Liberal firebrand Howard Dean agreed with Harry Reid in opposing the mosque construction. Perhaps Speaker Pelosi should reserve Room 101 to punish the former Democrat Party leader for his thought-crime.
Apparently, the Speaker believes everyone who opposes this construction is part of an extremely vast right-wing conspiracy and she knows that someone, somewhere, is behind the move to prevent this travesty from happening.
Speaking on the Fox News Channel, Representative Peter King (R-NY) called the remarks, “a threat by the Speaker to try to intimidate people who are speaking out against the location of the mosque.”
Speaker Pelosi is seriously deluded if she thinks there is a grand conspiracy involving well over half the American people, Democrats and Republicans alike. Fox News reported that a Republican aide urged the Speaker to consult with Sasquatch. "His office is behind the black helicopter hangar between the unicorn pen and the leprechaun's pot of gold", the aide said.
Perhaps her time would be better spent looking for all those jobs the President claims he has saved.

Okay, now this article is just some really funny *hit! Nancy lost it (her mind) along time ago. Amazing how she has gotten to where she's at politically, but that's money for ya in America; if ya got enough of it you can do anything. Even the Ground Zero property owner, Sharif El-Gamal, has said the property does have a price tag. So, if somebody has enough money to offer him he's willing to relocate the project. Isn't America grand!

1. Islam is a world conquering political movement.
2. Muslims worldwide have not risen up in demonstration against terrorism.
3. Muslim leadership is very aware of history; of past conquests and reversals;
The name of this proposed project is Cordoba.
4. Cordoba was conquered in 711 AD and became the capital of a caliphate.
5. Cordoba was perhaps the world's largest city in population.
6. Cordoba under Islam was a leading financial center of the Age
7. Cordoba fell to the Spanish Reconquista under Their Catholic Majesties Ferdinand and Isabella
8. Of course it is our tradition to be tolerant of religious beliefs; but this belief is also political and world conquering. We are at a crossroads. Having weakened and rejected Christianity by the division of sects and by the secular nature of our national union, we are open to the conquest by Islam. In their minds they mean well. It is for our best in their minds.
If they build their mosque at ground zero, then someone should fly an airplane into it.
So, Stretch Pelosi opposes any investigation into who is funding the $100 million mosque, but supports investigating those who oppose the mosque being built there? "Out of touch with reality" doesn't begin to cover it. She is criminally insane.

Another well done article. I agree the woman has lost her mind, but that's not news it happened years ago. She needs a good beating with a Banjo, if not a beating make her listen to Banjo music for eight hours straight without any alcohol consumption. Problem solved!

you know I think if there was an element in our church that is weird as the Islamists have we would be kicking em out and stop them from hiding behind our shirttails !
to allow them to build a church (ANYPLACE) that advocates the downfall of our country is really stretching our laws of rights beyond any reasoning ! they should all be booted out of here and not allowed to enjoy any of our rights or breathe the same air we do !
