As thousands are being killed on the Arizona-Mexico border, President upset he can’t buy shrimp
This kind of thing you cannot make up.
It is a well known fact that thousands of people are being killed on the Arizona-Mexico border due to the drug wars. Just yesterday it was revealed that 72 migrants on their way to the US from South America were executed by drug lords. Obama has turned his back on this slaughter. He simply is not interested. If there is a total black out in the news on the 14 million Pakistanis perishing from their natural disaster, a few thousands Mexicans or Americans being killed by drug lords is of no interest. Obama has seen to that.
‘As the president walked around the restaurant, some cordoned-off reporters shouted out to him questions, including one about the war in Iraq. Next Tuesday night, the president will deliver an Oval Office address at 8 pm ET, in which he will mark the occasion of the withdrawal of US combat troops from the country.
But the president was in no mood today to discuss the issue with reporters in that setting. He ignored questions for a bit, then turned to the reporters.
"We're buying shrimp, guys,” he said, smiling. “Come on."’
The point here is not that the President is enjoying the good life. The point is that he lectures America about sacrifice every chance he gets while squeezing out every last benefit he can get at tax payer expense. That is the point. It is as if he knows he won’t get re-elected and he wants to get everything he can before he leaves office. Notice also that he gets irritated when asked to justify himself. He has not had a press conference in over a year. No other president has been this secretive and despotic in the entire history of the country. Does anyone notice?

And while the Obama’s are on their 16th vacation in 18 months, the democrats who supported them are being sacrificed and obliterated in the elections.

While the specter of a hyper inflationary depression is very real, Boehner’s actions could go a long way towards creating some momentum in a positive direction.
